Global Youth in Logistics Africa (GYLA) is a youth-driven initiative dedicated to transforming Africa’s logistics landscape. We empower young professionals and entrepreneurs with the knowledge, tools, and networks needed to build climate-smart, tech-enabled, and future-ready logistics systems. Our work is a direct response to Africa's development goals and the global green transition, placing sustainability, innovation, and youth empowerment at the heart of our mission.

We are committed to building capacity and fostering innovation through three strategic pillars
1. Skills & Training in Green Logistics
We equip youth with the technical skills needed for a sustainable logistics sector. Our programs cover everything from renewable energy in warehousing to carbon management and the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
2. Innovation & Entrepreneurship
We are a hub for creative solutions. Our programs support and incubate youth-led startups focused on climate-resilient logistics—from AI-driven efficiency to blockchain for transparent supply chains.
3. Research & Advocacy
We amplify the voices of young Africans in policy and climate discussions. Through research and policy dialogue, we advocate for youth inclusion and the adoption of green logistics practices at regional and continental levels.
